The Map of Uncertain Paths

Magi was a young cartographer who owned a perfect atlas. The atlas showed every road, every safe bridge, and every established town in the kingdom. Following it meant he would never get lost, never get wet in the rain, and always find an inn by nightfall. One day, at the very edge of the map, Magi noticed a faint dotted line leading into a dense, unmapped valley labeled 'The Great Unknown'. His friends warned him to stay on the paved highway. 'The highway is safe and predictable,' they said. Magi looked at his pristine atlas, then out at the misty valley. He realized that staying on the pre-mapped road meant he would only ever see what others had already discovered. He stepped off the highway and into the high grass of the valley. He had to climb steep rocks and find his own way across streams, but he also discovered a field of glowing flowers that no human eye had ever seen before. He began to draw his own map.
